To make frame: smooth frame with sandpaper. Wipe away any dust. Working in a well-ventilated area and following the directions on the can, spray frame and mat board with White Primer. Allow to dry and repeat. Smooth away any roughness with sandpaper and wipe clean.
Trim mat board into an arc wide enough to hold the champagne glass that will fit the 6½” side of the frame. Glue arc to the bottom edge of the frame. Spray frame and mat board with Sterling Silver, lightly misting the Silver so some of the white is still visible. Tap wet paint with sponge to create a sponged effect. Allow to dry.
Spray the champagne glass with Sterling Silver and allow to dry. Using the photo as a guide, wrap silver cord around the frame opening and bring to the back of the frame. Tape in place on backside of frame. Glue silver cord around the edge of the mat board. Form a two loop bow with loops about 1” and streamers of 5”. Secure centre of bow with floral wire. Glue bow in upper left corner of the frame. Trim and knot ends of cord.
Glue champagne glasses to matt board as shown. Cut white sheer ribbon in half length and form a tiny bow for each glass. Glue one bow to each glass base.
Glue a cluster of flowers and pearl sprays around the silver bow and to the lower right corner of the frame. Glue in hearts as desired.
To make candleholder: clean ivy bowl thoroughly inside and out because any fingerprints or smudges inside the ivy bowl will be magnified by the mirror like finish. Allow to dry. Working in a well-ventilated area and following the directions on the can, spray inside of ivy bowl with the Krylon® Looking Glass® paint. Allow to dry and repeat.
Cut a strip of Mylar about 3” wide and 9” long. Wipe Mylar clean. Spray Mylar with Looking Glass paint, allow to dry and repeat.
Trim Styrofoam to fit inside the ivy bowl gluing in place. Place candle on top of Styrofoam and trim bottom edge of candle if needed.
Place Mylar strip around the candle as shown attach to candle with double sided tape. Tape a row of crystal bead trim around the top edge of the Mylar strip. Tape a row of crystal trim around the neck of the ivy bowl.
Glue a strip of silver ribbon around the top edge of each of the crystal bead rows. Cut two 1 yard lengths of silver wire. Twist each around the pencil. Remove from pencil and twist one around the neck of the ivy bowl and the other around the candle as shown.
Using the photo as a guide, apply hot glue to back of silver heart charms one at a time and press into the candle. (The heat of the hot glue will slightly melt the candle and allow the hearts to stick to the candle.)
