- Go online to look for a star shape that you would like to use. Use a photo editing program to change the size of the star, if needed. Make sure it is no larger than 2” wide. Print the star shape onto cardstock and cut out to use as a template.
- Rip off a piece of 2” wide blue painter’s tape that is big enough to fit the star template. Stick the star template lightly to the sticky side of the tape. Use sharp scissors to cut out the shape from the tape. Gently peel the cardstock star template from the tape. Firmly press the tape star onto the vase.
